It is a yellow crystal lump. When temperature is higher than its melting point,
it assumes light brown oil- like liquid.
It doesn’t dissolve in water, but slightly dissolves in benzene and carbon disulfide.
It is easy to dissolve in ethyl alcohol and ether. In ethyl alcohol it may be recrystalized. |
